1. Monthly fees are due on 1st of the month. A late fee of $15 will be assessed if payment is not received by the 15th of month. Unpaid students may be dropped and replaced by a student on the waiting list.

2. Monthly fees are calculated based on an annual figure and are a fixed amount regardless of holidays, extra weeks, absences, etc.

3. A charge of $30.00 will be assessed for all NSF checks.

4. There are no refunds for classes/appointments missed. If you are going to miss a scheduled class or appointment, please abide by our 24-hour cancellation policy and contact the studio or manage your schedule in your account online

5. Students will not be allowed to leave without an adult. Please do not direct your children to go outside alone to look for you.

6. Starlight Dance Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

7. Only dance shoes are allowed on dance floors & do not wear dance shoes outside.

8. No food or drink (only water) inside dance rooms. NO GUM

9. Students must pay for snacks at time they take them

10. Cell phones turned off inside dance rooms

11. Students need to follow established dress codes. Please ask instructor if you are unsure about attire. NO JEWELRY IN CLASS!

12. Arrive to class on time! If you are late, wait outside the room until there is a break in the warmup or when you are invited in by the instructor.

13. Be respectful and courteous at all times.

Make Up Classes:

  • Make up classes are available to students enrolled with a monthly tuition contract and only with an “Early Cancel” (desk notified or canceled online at least 24 hours before the missed class) 
  • Late/Same day cancellations DO NOT earn a make up class. 
  • “No shows” forfeit the visit and do not get a make up class. 
  • Make up class visits available for use on the student’s account expire if not scheduled within a month.
  • Make up classes may not be used for the same class the dancer is enrolled in and may not substitute for tuition the following month.  

Dress Code:

Ballet Classes:
Girls:Black Leotard, Pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes (preferably split sole).
***Optional: black ballet shorts or skirt, fitted ballet BLACK camisole or tank top. No t-shirts, gym shorts or baggy clothes allowed.

Boys: Black Tights, Jazz Pant or Black Shorts (no logo), black t-shirt, Black Ballet Shoe.

Jazz Classes: Any leotard or dance top with black jazz pant or capri. Jazz shoe. No denim, baggy clothes or PE shorts.

Modern/Lyrical Classes: See ballet or jazz attire, tan jazz shoe, half sole or foot thong.

Tap Classes: Dancewear that you can move in, tap shoes

Hip Hop Classes: Any appropriate dancewear (no short shorts), flexible white soled, dedicated tennis shoe (do not wear in parking lot, as it tracks in dirt)

***For all classes:
*Hair should be in bun or ponytail. Long bangs should be pinned away from face.
*No Jewelry should be worn in class
*Students repeatedly disregarding dress code may be asked to sit out of class
*Please label shoes with students name or initials
